It's a momentous day in Wolf Wood at Longleat after a turbulent year. Eliska, the matriarch of the pack, died along with her unborn pups, before further tragedy with the death of lead male Django. With the pack in disarray, the keepers have been working tirelessly to create a new family of wolves. They have already selected an appropriate female, Meg, to be the matriarch, and today a new male called Terry arrives. He comes in a crate that is carefully navigated into position outside the wolf house. Everyone is anxious, as any sudden movement could cause Terry to panic, so the keepers must remain calm. As the slide opens, Terry takes his tentative first steps into an enclosure full of Meg's scent. Knowing that Terry's sense of smell is 100,000 times more sensitive than a human's, keepers study him, looking for a reaction - but will he be on board with this monumental love match? Also on the programme, Kate discovers that one of the most colourful birds in the world begins life as anything but, and the park's youngest camel goes to training school.
