Under house arrest since helping Captain America resist the government's plans to register all superheroes, Scott Lang is not allowed to make contact with Pym and Hope van Dyne (the Wasp). They have other ideas, however, and in an effort to retrieve Hope's mother Janet from the quantum realm, they enlist Scott's help again as Ant-Man. But a mysterious and dangerous figure known as Ghost will stop at nothing to get hold of their powers, and with a criminal gang on their trail who also want to get their hands on Hank's nanotechnology, rescuing Janet and staying one step ahead of the law is not going to be easy.
